Montana is easily home to some of America's most beautiful landscapes. Give me any excuse to visit and I will make the trip. You can imagine my excitement when my cousin decided to get married in Montana this summer. Even more elated to be chosen to photograph the big day!
Red Lodge is a special place for Kelsey and Nate. The family owns property there and it has been a destination for family get-togethers and quite time away. Many memories have been made in this wild place. For a weekend, friends and loved ones made their way to Montana, many for the first time just to share this special moment with Kelsey and Nate but by making the trip they made some memories of their own. What a special gift to give your family and friends.
The weather called for sunny skies and no rain. That changed quickly when an unexpected storm rolled in. Those big skies have a mind of their own, so we rolled with the punches. The first look was on the family's property as thunderstorms rolled overhead. The ceremony and reception were held at Montana Wildflower Weddings. Kelsey and Nate exchanged their vows under the big Montana sky and mountains in the background. It was the perfect setting for an outdoor Montana wedding.
Enjoy!
